Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is dry ice cleaning?
It’s a process that uses CO₂ pellets blasted under high pressure to remove dirt, grease, and deposits without water or chemicals.

2. Does dry ice damage surfaces?
No. The pellets sublimate (turn directly into gas) and are non-abrasive. It’s safe for metal, plastic, and even electronics.

3. What parts of a car can be cleaned with dry ice?
Undercarriage, engine, engine bay, suspension components, interior details, and even upholstery elements.

4. Does dry ice cleaning remove rust?
It removes loose rust and surface deposits but does not stop corrosion. Protective coatings are required for long-term protection.

5. Is it safe for car electronics and wiring?
Yes. Dry ice is non-conductive and leaves no moisture behind, making it safe for electrical components.

6. How long does the process take?
It depends on the scope of work - from around 1 hour for small parts to several hours for a full car.
